balances a combination of
Chaste Berry, Eleuthero (Siberian Ginseng),
Peruvian Maca, Saw Palmetto and other nutrients
intended to provide nutritive support for
reproductive and fertility health.
- Chaste Berry (
also known as Vitex Agnus Castus) is most
commonly used to re-balance female hormones,
particularly if you have been on birth
control pills. The herb appears to lengthen
the luteal phase of your cycle, as well as
increasing progesterone, the pregnancy
hormone.
- Eleuthero is also
a hormone modulator, perhaps because it is
claimed to have a strengthening effect
on the liver.
- Peruvian Maca has
an interesting history: when the
Spaniards conquered South America, they
found that their stock was not breeding well
at those high altitudes. Following the
recommendations of the local Indians, they
added Maca to the feed, and were so pleased
with the results that they went to great
pains to chronicle it.
- Zinc
forms a part of genetic
material, as well as making it possible for
your body to manage estrogen and
progesterone in their reproductive role.
- Saw Palmetto
allows for the presence of higher levels of progesterone by
blocking estrogen.
